I-16 config fault?

I have no view control over my I-16. 

When I load it, I am looking at the rear headrest, and cannot pan around to the front. I cannot use, nor does it respond to track IR input. I seem to remember this being a problem several years ago, and members her found a solution. Could it be a config issue?

And now for all the usual questions.

• It's the same in career, quick start or free flight, on the ground or in the air.
• It just snaps back to looking at the headrest.
• I have checked the key mapping and for a unique profile. There aren't any. I use only one global.

It only happens with the i-16

 

Anyone have any ideas?

1. Go to: IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\LuaScripts\snapviews\defaults   

2. Locate the file i16t24.svc and copy/paste it to the "snapviews" folder.  

Maybe this would help!

or you can just go to the Stalingrad\data\LuaScripts\snapviews folder and delete the "i16t24.svc" file, restart the game and the file should be replaced.

Thanks, worked a treat.

Now onto my next bug. External views by joystick and Function keys not working...See next post, link below.

(GrumpyGnome, thanks also. didn't try your method, but I'm sure it would have worked.)
