Bombsight periodically unusable: all airframes / all modes (SP & MP)

I noticed this last night again. It basically broke the mission and it seems to affect all air frames with the bomb sight. Apparently it's a long-standing issue going back years. I've just gotten back into IL-2 and based on this thread https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/58408-a-20-bomb-aim-jumping/

..and based upon the community manager's response at the time "It's not being ignored - no one has described a way where this issue can be reliably repeated. So, until then it will remain unresolved."

Based on that it looks as if it won't ever get resolved. It doesn't appear there's any interest in tracking it down and getting it fixed even though players have mentioned it on many occasions over the years going back a decade; providing descriptions and .trk files etc. And they have indeed described how it can be reliably reproduced at least to some extent. By running several consecutive missions in the same air frame that uses the bomb sight, one is likely to run into this issue of the bomb sight jumping around. This bug appears in all air frames and in both Single Player Mode and Multiplayer and can be reproduced reliably to some extent.

Question: If Il-2 won't or can't fix it, can we then assume this bug will also be included in the upcoming B-25 and all other air frames that have the bomb sight as part their air frame package?
