Hiuuz Posted November 24, 2025 Posted November 24, 2025 Greetings everyone! Let this stand as a memory for CloD, after all, it was part of the series too. Personally, I trust it won’t disappear into the haze of the past, but at the moment nothing certain is known about it. If the admins allow this topic to remain, I thank them. If they decide otherwise, I completely understand that as well. See you on the virtual sky! 1 Quote
86Cheese Posted November 24, 2025 Posted November 24, 2025 There is plenty known about it. Vr will be released as soon as they can figure out why it keeps crashing. That said, they've been trying to nail this down for a long time now and it has slowed progress considerably. I would imagine Fortresses and Focke Wulfs will not be far behind that, but who knows when that will be ironed out. Quote
kraut1 Posted November 24, 2025 Posted November 24, 2025 I have signed up 2015 in the ATAG forum to get the Team Fusion Mod. And since Feb. 2022 I am a VR Beta Tester and there is some activity. And I think I will just continue with this task without thinking about the contexts. Quote

Dora Posted November 27, 2025 Posted November 27, 2025 Both Il-2: 1946 and Cliffs of Dover aren't part of 1CGS anymore, but published by Fulqrum Publishing. I think the Fulqrum forums are supposed to be the new place to get safely ignored by the Team Fusion devs. 1 Quote
Avimimus Posted November 27, 2025 Posted November 27, 2025 As stated, the IP is owned by a different publisher and different developer. It makes sense for them to administer their own forums. The old forums are available via the archive (preserved as read-only). Quote
clod65 Posted November 29, 2025 Posted November 29, 2025 (edited) update see below https://youtu.be/nd_ZLvDQGGo 1 on 1 scenario with Bf109 and Spitfire, Extending combat time. version 2 testing Ok this time, In Full Mission Builder (FMB) in 'Action' drop down field, I selected 'normal flight' for spitfire and 'engage fighters' for the bf109. (refer start of video). The spitfire wins this round, and the bf109 crashes into the water. The spitfire continues to shoot the bf109 while down. I suspect, we may have to set both planes differently for the 'Action' drop down field. If I select normal for both, the spitfire would try to avoid getting hit and not really shoot back. The spitfire pilot head movement was also absent. This time both pilots heads keep tracking each other, and this is one way to tell that they are in combat mode. BlitzPig_Targ Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 (edited) Imagine, 7 months from now Buzzsaw logging in to post an update. See's the dead forum?>>>??! WTH?!? When did this happen? Edited December 1, 2025 by BP_Targ Quote
Mysticpuma Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 The only conversation being had currently is on Discord. https://discord.gg/CGVCkgdRZ That said, barely anything is being said by the team on there. I pointed out that they really should look at their Steam page as most comments on there are unanswered and potential buyers are saying "it's abandoned". AirWarChronicles who used to be Soto_Cinematics and who is their PR and Marketing manager has tried multiple times to get access to the Steam forums, but with Buzzsaw having vanished and not answering any questions/contact from at least most of the team or the community, what chance we have of V6 seeing the light of day is anyone's guess. The last update we had 6-months ago told us nothing we didn't know a year previous to it and apparently they still don't have any of the new aircraft for V6 in game (apart from the Typhoon which was shown over 2-years ago). Now there is only Discord, ATAG (barely any interaction from the team) and Steam which is effectively abandoned by the team and the PR Manager locked out from it. Literally, the one place they have available to sell their product (V6) if it ever gets released, and Buzzsaw won't engage there, won't give access to any other members of his team, and so the sales platform, abandoned, just let's anyone visiting in think, "well this is dead in the water". The question should be, is Buzzsaw even interested in TFS and V6 anymore or has he walked away and left it to rot? With no news, no indication of progress, no interaction and nowhere to speak with the Team...why would anyone think TFS are still working on V6? Even Batmacumba from TFS didn't realise Steam was still active! Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler 4 Quote
clod65 Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 (edited) https://youtu.be/gylu1YidHwU 1 on 1 scenario with ai Bf109 and human Spitfire. ai set to ACE skill level. Action: Normal Flight. Both 'Action' parameter set to 'normal flight' for both aircraft. Spitfire flown by me and bf109 is ai. About 6.40 zoom and boom ends from the bf109 and I give chase, but I do not shoot the bf109, I wanted to see how it would respond. It would try to get behind me when I veered off. Whole event went for 24 minutes, had to cut it ,to fit 15 minutes for YT. Edited December 2, 2025 by clod65 Quote

clod65 Posted December 6, 2025 Posted December 6, 2025 (edited) Hi Guys and Gals, Got some good news I think. I noticed the ai bf109 would disengage after 5 minutes combat everytime. So I went through all the files under core folder with 'hhd hex editor neo' and changed anything i found at 300 to 600, (300 seconds is 5 minutes, which is when plane would disengage from combat) I did the files under core folder first and ran the combat each time, i made change to one file at a time and that did not make a difference To cut story short I did the bob_humans.SFS under Bob folder, the first 2 hits on 300 changed to 600 and bang the bf109 kept zoom and booming for over 10 minutes.....woohoo you guys can test this out too, for sanity check, make the first 2 finds on 300 change it to 600 and test. I should have recorded the video and still will do this, but this maybe some really great news for combat with ai, i really wanted to share. now that is weird the first time i tried it it worked, i might just change all the file values in bob folder...i know im onto something because it did work and can be certain of that ill keep at it, I know i got this working. Edited December 6, 2025 by clod65 the skill level was set to ACE 2 1 Quote
BENKOE Posted December 8, 2025 Posted December 8, 2025 Maybe a helpfull tool for -Blitz- VR-beta-testers ... The ZEISS Aerotopograph Stereoskop has been seen in some WorldWar II and post WorldWar II movies, such as "Triple Cross" and "Operation Crossbow", among others. Quote
clod65 Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 If anyone would like to help out, I know it's a long shot, but it's worth a try. I have recorded battle between ai planes and using stop watch, they stop at 3min and 36 seconds around that time. i.e 216/217 seconds, I have selected a range from 215 to 222 seconds and with hex editor going through each file one by one, start finding 215 and changing it to 615 saving the file then starting the game and observe the length of the battle. It took me awhile to get to this stage, thinking time etc. I am doing the core folder and if someone is keen to start on the bob folder we would get this done quicker. also make a backup of all the files and when you finish with modifying the file and there is no change in time, restore the file and start again with the next number. K I'm tackling this in different ways, I installed procmon and filtered on Launcher.exe only:- Download and Run ProcMon: Download the tool from the official Microsoft Sysinternals page and run Procmon.exe as an administrator. Stop the Initial Capture: By default, ProcMon starts capturing events immediately, which generates a large amount of data from all running processes. Click the magnifying glass icon or press Ctrl+E to stop the capture. A red slash will appear over the icon. Clear Existing Events: Click the eraser icon or press Ctrl+X to clear all the events already captured from the display. Set a Process Name Filter: Go to Filter > Filter... (or press Ctrl+L). In the "Process Monitor Filter" window, ensure the first dropdown says "Process Name". Ensure the second dropdown says "is". In the text box, type the exact name of your game's executable (e.g., gamename.exe). Ensure the last dropdown says "Include". Click Add, then click Apply, and finally OK. I found these are the files accessed before and just after the ai plane disengaged:- core_data.sfs bob_buildings.sfs bob_plane.sfs core_update01.sfs bob_humans.sfs will edit these files and see what i can do Quote
paul_leonard Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 I’m following what you are doing with interest. Willing to help but pressed for time right now. I would also suggest you install the CLOD SleepyFly Tacview utility that you can obtain from the ATAG forums. Then you can also replay engagements forward and rewind. I did some work on this earlier this year and posted on the old iL-2. I consistently saw separation and RTB after about 7 minutes on AI versus AI. It was really easy to consistently observe the moment of separation. I would be skeptical that the “timer” would be an odd number of seconds. If it is there, I suspect it is more like 300, 400, 500 or something like that. I have also raised what you are doing with the Team Fusion internal group, just to create awareness at this point of what you are doing. 1 Quote
clod65 Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 (edited) Hi Paul. I have attached procmon logfile, of interest refer to timestamp 7.55.4 to 7.56.0 this is when the plane bf109 disengaged from the fight. I didn't make a video recording at the sametime, but I did note down when it happened. I'll be checking hex values as well, example 217 seconds in hex is D9. I'll keep at it.. Thanks for the reply oh one file i missed from previous entry was core_update.sfs, you will see this at 7.55.4, the one that stands out though is bob_plane.sfs Logfile1.zip 6 minutes ago, clod65 said: Hi Paul.
