New MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals cannot be assigned in game.

Finally purchased a set of good pedals to replace my ancient CH pedal set, beautiful things, but I cannot get them to work in the sim.   Every time I start the sim I get a prompt that a new controller is detected, and it shows them, and a list of all my other controllers, oddly it shows the CH pedals twice on that list, even thought they are no longer connected to the system.

In the windows game controller I can see them working, also in the MFG software.  But I cannot even assign the rudder or toe brakes.  I've been at it for over 2 hours now.  I recalibrated the MFGs in their software to no avail.

I'm curious why the game sees two instances of the old CH pedals.  I have looked through the file structure, but cannot find the list of controllers anywhere, thinking I could manually delete the CH pedals from the list.

My frustration is now so high it's time to quit for the night.

Look for the devices.txt file in IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles\data\input folder. You can open it and it should list all the controllers. I would save a backup copy and then you can try deleting the CH entries in the file.
