Longer smoke trails, which are possible in sped up footage but not at regular speed. Can it be done for normal speed play?

Simply put, it's clear that BoX can generate long smoke trails behind aircraft, similarly, this also happens with fire effects when the footage (from a trk file) or the game is sped up.

Smoke trail length, I guess that's coded somewhere else. I have seen that the game can generate a more realistic smoke strail, but it's the 'glitch/bug' workaround I have used before. Simply put, speed the game up, wait for the smoke trail to be created, pause it, great smoke trail length, looks just about right, but for some reason, can't be generated at x1 speed 😞

So these are x1 speed

The following are x 8/16 (whatever is maximum fast forward speed in a trk file)

As can be clearly seen, the smoke trail is way better, lasts over a much longer distance, doesn't cause issues to the game because it is using the same particles, it's just that when the game is sped up, we actually get a great representation of the fire and smoke effects, compared to the short vanishing blob trail we currently have.

To me, that is the 'Nirvana' I dream of, but sadly it appears that even though the game can generate those effects over a distance, in'game, it's stuck to the first two images.

Is there a way the code that generates the lengthened effects when speeded up canbe generated at 1x, thius giving a much more realistic smoke trail?

Maybe the particle lifetimes don't respect the time compression settings?  Huh.

or if you could make the short smoke get properties from that long black smoke
