Flying Circus Flugpark Community Server

Since 2019 the Flying Circus Flugpark server continues to host the largest numbers of players across a wide spectrum of interest and experience levels.  See more about the server and its role in the Flying Circus community history in the later section.   If you are new and want to get a quick pre-flight briefing about the key features and resources available through the server, read on!

The busiest times of any day are around 1900 UTC (convert to your local time zone from UTC).  Sundays are the busiest with over 50 players normal.  Be sure to come on a voice channel on the Flugpark discord and join any of the players you see there.  They are always willing to help players newer to WW! flying and the game.

Flugpark Discord: https://discord.gg/sStewGJXPQ  Hang out in the neutral "No Mans' Land' channel, or simply go to either the Entente (red) or Central (blue) channels.  Check out the new players section for tips tricks or to ask your questions of the community!

Flugpark flight data (parser): https://flugpark.org/en/info/ .  Visit the parser and find your name on a mission you have flown or under the overall rankings tab.  Click your name and drill in under missions/sorties/sortie and see who you shot down or shot you down by clicking on the sortie of interest. Track your performance, promotions and awards earned on the Flugpark by clicking on the awards tab!

Winning the Mission!

Always read the in-mission pilot instructions briefing to understand how to survive and win! There are different ways to win, depending on the mission!

Win a coveted Victory Point for the coalition that determines the victor at the end of the three- month seasonal campaign "tour". 

Be the first coalition to:

- achieve mission objectives described in the in-flight mission briefing (objective win), 
OR
- destroy so many enemy ground target objectives and planes that one side outscores the opponent sufficiently enough to establish dominance during the mission (points win), wins a coveted victory point! 

Victory points determine the victorious coalition at the end of the current Battle Offensive (tour, which lasts three months).     

Learn More About the Flugpark and FC Community

Since 2019, Flugpark was the first Flying Circus server, helping transition the WWI flying community from Rise of Flight to Flying Circus when it hosted the first Flying Circus campaign event (Black September IV). The server was then only months later, depended upon by many players around the world, as together, we survived the pandemic together, even as some of us experienced the loss of friends and wingmen in real life.

The Flugpark continues its to be the most active of all the WW1 servers.  It features full-real server settings and historically based missions that provide interest to newer and experienced player tastes alike.  Whether you want to fly a fighter and duel in a furball, or engage in the other player roles the server has to offer, such reconnaissance or low level and high-level bombing, there is something for everyone!   

And it is all within one dynamic flying environment that most importantly, keeps the community flying together.   It has different weather every mission, and some AI to play with when things are slow, but that disappear when enough live players are on to make them unnecessary. Because of that, and the amazing efforts of multiple community mission builders and contributors, no two missions are ever the same!

Last but certainly not least, the Flugpark continues to support and grow the Flying Circus community only because of the support flyers show by spending their valuable flying time with the community on the Flugpark.  It is you, the player, who makes the community what it is, especially the newer players!  Flying together is what matters most, even when your favorite plane is not present in the current mission at the moment, or the mission objectives aren’t the most favorable for your coalition at the moment!   That’s when aces and fame are earned!

2025 - Tour in Review -  Flugpark Annual Report 

Tour:  Entente wins their second tour in a row thanks in large part to the bombing efforts of the sometimes elusive @Mjr.Bummer.   Mjr.Bummer is given, among the many other awards he earned this tour, the honorary "Best Bum" award, for his dedication, persistence and destruction of planes and material, up and down all sectors of the Flugparks' Western Front, resulting in a Entente tour victory.

The Flugpark Team and Jagdgruppe 2 sponsors are very happy to report the following:  approximately 33% more flying hours on the Flugpark as compared to one year ago, with 16% more players year-over-year.  This is a indication that not only were there topline increases in Flying Circus multiplayer community size (as indicated by Flugpark server participation), but an increase in flying hours per player.
