Ammunition loadout Colours ?

When modifying your loadout what do the various bullet tip colours represent ?

Blue Ball ammo ?

Yellow HE ?

Yep!  Blue AP and Orange HE.  There are other types (in Tank Crew) but IIRC they have icons instead of colours.  I don't recall if there are other types for aircraft, but rockets have the same colour scheme.

Hmm... I perceive the HE rounds as more reddish 🙂 Differences in colour perception I suppose.

But yes, that is the convention!

Note: It is only true for Western European/American rockets. The AP versions of Russian rockets aren't blue. Also, bombs aren't marked by their penetration (so one would have to research each bomb separately - I believe the British bombs are generally thick walled high fragmentation types, whereas the American bombs are more general purpose?)
