Reisen Posted February 16 Posted February 16 I'm building a new PC and won't be moving my old SSDs to the new computer. Can I back up my game settings with my HOTAS keybinds and apply them on the new system so I don't have to start from scratch?
1C Game Studios LukeFF Posted February 20 1C Game Studios Posted February 20 Your keybinds are stored in the /data/input folder. 1
No_85_Gramps Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Be aware you may have to edit the devices.txt file. More than likely your new system will assign different ID #s to your controllers. Czech693 Posted February 20 Posted February 20 If you print out that devices.txt file you can use it as a reference so that you always plug the controllers back in the same order so that their numbering stays the same. I also plug them in based on the chance of being replaced. My Crosswind pedals always go first. Joystick goes last and throttle is next to last. 1 1
kalerider1 Posted February 25 Posted February 25 In case anyone else reads this all I had to do was copy the input folder to the new build after I'd connected all my devices and when I started the game it asked me to assign each device. Didn't need to edit any files manually. Easy. 1 1
