IRRE_Axurit Posted November 26, 2025 Posted November 26, 2025 Hello pilots, I'm taking advantage of this new forum to ask my question again. We've received very little information about KOREA's multiplayer, aside from flight plan sharing. I don't know if this question has already been asked, but will we have a "realistic" inter-player/squadron radio communication system? With VOIP system ? or SRS intégration ?? It would be really good to plan for that in his release ! Tanks 😉 2 1 Quote
Kongo Posted November 26, 2025 Posted November 26, 2025 I second this. I believe integration with damage model may happen as according to one of the images on damage model, the radio appeared to be a hitbox.. 3 Quote

Sometimes in GB when I get hit I stop talking or close the SRS to simulate radio failure and it ads some immersion (and confusion in the squadron 😆) 2 Quote
Jade_Monkey Posted November 28, 2025 Posted November 28, 2025 Technology has evolved a lot since GB was built. I think it would be amazing if the game can have some small hyper-focused LLMs that can take care of some tasks such as radio operator (generate the audio without canned options). I know that approach opens up a lot of unexpected outcomes that could be out of scope and result in some unrealistic scenarios, but still think exploring the idea has some merit. 1 Quote
chutoi Posted December 5, 2025 Posted December 5, 2025 (edited) Personally, I think there's a pretty good chance that at least a basic radio/voice communication system will be included, given the developers' efforts to improve audio, immersion, and internal systems. But I wouldn't bet on an ultra-realistic system. Mini Militia App Lock Edited December 17, 2025 by chutoi 1 Quote
1C Game Studios LukeFF Posted December 5, 2025 1C Game Studios Posted December 5, 2025 This feature may be included one day, but not right now. However, we are developing a brand-new radio-voicing system for our AI. 1 2 1 1 Quote

Even if the majority of your clientele are single-player players, be careful not to neglect multiplayer players too much... We already know that the mission editor remains the same, and that's a big disappointment for mission creators. Don't forget that many communities are waiting, and among them are YouTube content creators who will give you free publicity. 1 1 Quote
Talisman Posted December 7, 2025 Posted December 7, 2025 SRS would be good. 👍 Also, hope we can have some specific Korea channels added to the IC IL2 official ts3 server. Happy landings, Talisman Quote
Mark_Krieger Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 (edited) Anyway It's a pity that it's not implemented as a system like hidraulic system, etc. Integrated voice comms in the game that can fail (recieving, transmitting or both) when you are hit would be a very important improvement. I really hope one day you can implement it. And of course not having to use other software like SRS, Discord, Teamspeak, etc. makes the experience much more comfortable for the players. SRS is a very neat and works great with GB online and also in DCS with its damage link. A complete omission of VOIP for MP would be a colossal mistake... 1 1 Quote
