Why is the Hurricane so cracked

After three hours of trying to hold my own against hurricanes, I finally got outrun IN A DIVE and called it quits. I feel like everyone knows the hurricane is super juiced in GB for some reason, but nobody seems to have mentioned it here (that I could find through search at least).

Has this been brought up before to the devs, or is it "correct as is?"

Please, provide some track or solid information about this. That will help us to see why this happened and if it needs fixing, but the "I feel like" part seems a little bit exagerated. 🙂

There are tons of different things goin on during combat and sometimes we do not realize about the little details that matter.

For example, you can run and also dive but... bullets are faster than your plane will ever be in this era. Same as horizontal separation. 
No matter if you can dive faster, the other plane (unless a I-153) can also dive and the difference will be small in a small time window. 

There is a difference in diving from 3000 m to 1000 m with the planes at 100 m to each other and to dive from 8000 m to 1000m with the planes more than 1 km.
