If not in VR, I could simply use a keyboard to trim aircraft, but VR precludes the use of a keyboard since you cannot see it, so trimming a plane in IL-2 has been nigh impossible for me while using VR. I recently purchased Gear-Falcon's Desk Mount Triple Trim, and this is just the perfect answer to my problem. The three dials are large enough to find and use without having to see them, and their size also makes it easy to make fine adjustments. Also, the kit is really plug and play; just plug in the USB cable, key-bind the dials to the appropriate controls, and it just works. I can finally give my left foot a rest on the rudder pedals while flying the Mig 3! Thank you Gear-Falcon!

We all know that this is not a necessity; I have been flying without it for many years up to recently, but it is really a nice addition, especially for immersion.  If you are interested, you can see it at https://gear-falcon.com/products/desk-mount-2nd-generation-usb-triple-trim-analog-with-trim-lock
