Antit3rror Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Hey, im trying to get rid of that problem for quite some time. Reinstalled game like three times already, unbinded every camera settings in controls except center view and center vr view but nothing seems to work, every time i pass ground units they disappear for me, even red markers if enabled. I can see them only as long as my wings dont pass them, then these disappear even tho im looking at them directly with my vr headset, its just empty space, its not the edge of headset problem, i dont see these even in the middle of my view. Im pulling my hair for few days already, reading these threads about how to fix it, but these methods dont really fix that problem for me. Today i played with a friend on VR also, and he dosnt have that issue. So i dont really understand where is this problem coming from. Maybe theres some file that dosnt get removed while reinstalling? Tried searching appdata and docs but couldnt find any. (Steam Version) Game is in full screen Supersampling in VR software is set at 1.0 Quote
Dash,Polder Posted February 16 Posted February 16 It's always an misalignment issue causing the cull, are you by chance also using necksafer to look back? Your HMD needs to be aligned first in your room setting, than as you fire up the game you should have the headset in a good position for initial alignment, you should have it on your head or facing front at minimum in your natural seated position upon game start. Three keys minimum should be on the same button, necksafer forward, VR center, and F-1 return to cockpit. You should never have another issue. One of the ways you can tell there's a misalignment going on is necksafer won't work correctly until you hit the button and sync all three, the game, your HMD, and necksafer. So it's absolutely vital you start with a physically centered HMD before you ever fire it up. That's the one you can't re-center once the game is up, only in your Rift software settings. IL-2 will allow you lots of leeway up and down, but not so much if your rift is off of center. Quote
