Question about Flying Circus campaign/career mode

I'm getting back into flight sims after about 20 years away and really have the itch for a good WW1 career mode.  Sign up on a date, fly in a squadron, watch the aircraft upgrade and change across the war, etc.  I'm excited by the Flying Circus career mode, but I've got a question I can't find an answer to online:

Assuming you own all the chapters, can you sign up early and fly through the entire war?  In other words, is a 1916 career just a 1916 career, or (assuming you survive) can you keep flying through 1917, 1918, and to the end of the conflict?

Yes, you can. Have fun and fly safe.

But if you die or get captured,you have to press restart mission,dont press proceed, otherwise the game will finish your career.
