SteamVR launches IL2

This evening I attempted to move Il2 off my partitioned 1TB to my new 2TB. Used the steam feature of directing all game files to the new SSD. I have a pimax crystal super, to verify the game worked i tried launching the game through the pimax play under my games tab. It launched in VR but in steam vr. After a lot of troubleshooting I just did a fresh new clean install. Replaced the dll as commonly done. Still doing the same thing. Launches through steamvr. I have pimax openxr set as openxr runtime in pimax play. Is there something that needs to be done with the pimax xr runtime app? Does the file location of that app need to be moved to my new ssd as well? Not at my pc at the moment but I noticed when I click on it on the desktop, i get an error. I click ok and it opens the app up.  I select pimaxXR.....I think that still lives on my 1tb ssd though.....I don't know at this point. Any help would be great.
