jokash Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Why this limitation? Some of the squadrons also use planes that they didn't have until middle of that year or later. 2 Quote
J18 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Yeah this is very limiting compared to the choices available in Rise of Flight. Many of the planes you fly as well as enemy planes are out place time wise. Even the planes parked around the airfield are incorrect for current time. Flying a Fokker EIII career in 1916 there were Pfalz DIIIa's lined up along the field. Many months before they were actually in service in 1917. Quote

JG4_Moltke1871 Posted February 8 Posted February 8 I also find this very annoying. If you want to fly a specific aircraft, you often have to tediously skip through a long list of months. That's not really practical. 2 Quote
jokash Posted February 8 Author Posted February 8 I played a career as a bomber for Germans, got 18 days into the campaign before i was shot down and captured. So now i have to play winter again. Then if i die,its winter again. So depressing. Quote

JG4_Moltke1871 Posted February 8 Posted February 8 A solution could be if the developers split the career to chapters based on real events, battle of Verdun, Cambrai offensive, German spring offensive, etc… they could include specific scenarios like tank assaults on specific dates etc… If this is too difficult split the career in season chapters should be the minimum 1 2 Quote
jokash Posted February 9 Author Posted February 9 what are they waiting for...should have been an option from the start...i doubt that western front was covered in snow whole winter like its presented. Quote
Buffo002 Posted February 11 Posted February 11 There are a lot of aircraft missing from 1916 and from mid-1915. It's a shame. If they worked on it, there would definitely be interest in new aircraft from this period. 🙂 1 Quote
1C Game Studios LukeFF Posted February 11 1C Game Studios Posted February 11 If there is time we'll split up career mode into more starting points, but right now the team is very busy with many other things. 3 Quote

If Korea and PTO are wildly profitable, the boys will then return to their true love and do WW1 properly on a completely new engine in the great tradition of Rise of Flight. It's gonna blow people's minds and begin a WW1 renaissance not seen since the 90's. 1 Quote

It's gonna blow people's minds and begin a WW1 renaissance not seen since the 90's. It should start with the Italian Front with the very much static front along the Isonzo River from 1915-October 1917, November 1917-18 along the Piave River and a 100km x 100km Arras or Verdun sector map! Afterwards could be Galicia late 1915-17 to depict the aftermath of the Great Retreat, Brusilov and Kerensky Offensives, Romania, Palestine, (maybe Salonika) and finally the Channel and Western Front Maps!
