Game Directory Confusion

Hi All, When I open up the game path on my Pc,  program files/1C game studio, the next step is that I am shown an option [ IL-2 Stum, Battle of Moscow and Great battles ]

Which one of these is the main root directory, because I have noticed that both show a MOD file folder, but with only Battle of Moscow working in conjunction with JSGME.

This all part of a learning curve that I am slowly climbing at the moment,   one other problem that i am experiencing is with JSGME and that is,  downloading a MOD into JSGME and moving mission mod from available mods to activated mods presuming that JSGME will now install files into the game, but when I check the mission screen the mod is not shown 

Many years ago when with my first installation of IL-2 Sturmovik I had no problems with MOD installations using JSGME.

1. The root folder is....../Il-2 Sturmovik Great Battles.

2. BoM shouldn't be separate from the main game folder, it's just a module.

3. JGSME will install the mods from the dedicated folder, but you have to have "mods enabled" from the game, otherwise they will be ignored.

When I get to the computer I'll send some screenshots , maybe will help

Cheers Mate !     That will be helpful,   It still bugs me that I go through JSME and transfer the MOD over too activate , but the mission MOD is not showing even when I have ticked the in game box to enable MODS.

If you right click on the game start icon (Launcher?) you'll know if it starts from the in tended folder. Steam version? That might have screwed it up.

If not, i'd recommend a fresh new installation. Rename the folder where it started from i.e. IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles  to IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles-Backup.

Start the Launcher and the new download starts. You then can copy the stuff from the backup data folder where needed like your missions, ACD, input, Luascripts, swf and more like grapcs/skins into the new installation. As JsGME user i have my MODS folder and JSGME stuff in the IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles main folder.
