Julian, the dark shape you pained in front of the windscreen is not a marking but the shadow from a plate installed to block the pilot's view of the exhaust to preserve night vision.

Decided to buy the Hurricane to see what I was missing, and boy was it worth it. Though it may not be fast, it flies like a dream and the weapons selection is top notch.

Much like the MiG-3 I did in the past, this is based on somewhat of a smattering of planes but not specifically one, however it is inspired by said MiG-3 (nose, tail) and a Yak-3 (arrow):

I initially planned to add some patriotic text above the arrow instead of the star, but it didn't really look right. I'll manage it some day 🙂
