Panzerkatze Posted December 28, 2025 Posted December 28, 2025 Let's not forget our eager assistants into the dungeons of old forum. Katzenkorps crew, fighting under pseudonym of PanzerKatze, is still alive and kicking. And helping at home with all sundries. Impossible to have them all in one pic, if one isn't like Lucky Luke, faster than own shadow and equipped w/ camera having 60 pics/ second fire rate. 3 Quote
Enceladus828 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 (edited) In September of last year my family continued our tradition of adopting a stray or orphaned cat. For months after our previous cat Smudge died we maintained it was too soon to get another cat but it finally happened. My uncle has a bunch of animals on his acreage and an alpaca along with the mother of newborn kittens was killed by a wolf. We got a 2 month old kitten named L.G. For a real name I considered Klondike, Yukon, Apollo and then Artemis but Murphy was the chosen name. Unlike Smudge, Murphy is a people cat (raised in a family with 6 people and many animals), likes car rides, and is very fond of toys. He got a lot of toys for Christmas. However, he is much more inquisitive and even wants to explore under the sink and the garbage bin, often gets the zoomies, and climbs up walls if he can get his paws on something. Murphy is basically an untrainable toddler! He only cuddles with us when he is tired and often squirms when we pick him up; Smudge didn’t mind being picked up and cuddled. Murphy on Halloween. We were trying to recreate a scene where 3 weeks after we got Smudge I put his front paws on a pumpkin I got in school and he was checking it out. And yes, Murphy has already discovered the table and the counter. Yeah, we had no Christmas tree last year 😔 A picture I took of him. Interestingly he never beat me up though he did run at me and tried to claw my face when I was laying on the couch Smudge and I 20 years ago when he was almost 5 months old. I still have that plane, a Buccaneer, and that stuffed cat, Kitty. Edited February 4 by Enceladus828 7 Quote

SARFlytitus Posted February 12 Posted February 12 (edited) 26 years ago I lost my firstborn, and, as sometimes happens, someone decided to give my wife and I a cat. Pelín was a small Norwegian Forest Cat. Our new puppy was beautiful, sweet, and intelligent. Over the next ten years, he filled our home and our hearts, becoming the faithful and protective playmate of our second-born daughter, Marta. A very aggressive form of feline leukemia took him from us. It was such a heavy loss to bear that for the next fifteen years, we never considered the possibility of a possible heir... ...and then one September morning in my garden, I found these six little devils. Anyway, you know…❤️ Edited February 12 by SARFlytitus 6 1 Quote

Panzerkatze Posted 21 hours ago Author Posted 21 hours ago Katzenkorps has been active behind the scenes. First, Roy was helping me to troubleshoot and fix my PC, as it had some weird symptoms. It was giving weird outdated data warnings and jamming for few seconds, then everything jumped ahead with enormous speed for a moment. After a while doing it, blue screen. Culprit was malfunctioning GPU. Then we went for a test drive: "Achtung! Enemy plane at 7, low!" We rushed under some trees between buildings and were not spotted. "T34 five a clock, 1 km!" Rapid u-turn and 2x APCR and one APHE did the job. Roy got Tuna Class Iron Foodbowl for his bravery and vigilance. 1 1 Quote
