jokash Posted January 29 Posted January 29 If I'm having a prolonged dogfight, sometimes my view ends up bellow the gunsight, almost like my pilot is holding his head in his lap. Sometimes it snaps back into normal position but sometimes it doesn't.Iv googled now and seems other people had this as well.Is the solution to constantly snap back to center or can i do something else.Like someone mentioned before, I haven't seen people on youtube with trackir suffering from this problem.
Catch Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Sit up. Back straight. Don't slouch. Maintain the position. Bad for the back later in life old thing. Or .... is it the game simulating the effects of gravity or gyroscopic forces during wild, crazy manoeuvres? Whatever, happens to me all the time. 🙂
jokash Posted February 2 Author Posted February 2 yea but sometimes it stays like that...i cant get up 👀 1
Remontti Posted February 2 Posted February 2 I think it is an old issue with TrackIR. I don't remember the details but I think it was discussed in the old il2 forum. Or on TrackIr site forum. I don't think there is a fix. I had recenter view on a joystick button to get around this issue.
Kubert Posted February 2 Posted February 2 (edited) I personally disabled up/down axis in TrackIR. For the same reason and I don't miss it. Sometimes happen to me that my view go slightly off center to the side, but it is not a problem. I have re-center key in TrackIR program binded at NUM-. It is easy to find without looking, so just one fast tap and my view is where it should be. Edited February 2 by Kubert
