JG1 has recently been flying on this server and are thoroughly enjoying it but would like to find some more information as to how the dynamics of it work, specifically how ground targets work. Is there a Discord or other sites that have a good description and somewhere to interact with the developers?

JG1 would be happy to provide testing assistance and we can provide approximately 8 pilots each Tues night (and possibly Thurs night) at 02:00 to 05:00 GMT.

Here is how it works:

Overview
The aim of the campaign is for the human pilots and tank commanders to assist the AI forces to capture enemy Regions.  A side wins by capturing the oppositions HQ/Supply Region.

Regions
The part of the map being used is split up into Regions.  Each Region is controlled by the Axis Side(Blue), the Allied Side(Red) or is Neutral (White).  At the start of the campaign each Region is designated to Axis, Allied or Neutral.

One region on each side is designated the HQ/Supply region, that Region is fully stocked for Storage, Production and defenses.
The Airbase in the HQ/Supply Region holds the Aircraft Reserve for it's side.
The HQ/Supply Region does not move to another Region.

Depending on how the campaign is structured other Regions are fully or partially stocked, Neutral Regions have no storage or Production.

When a Region is captured it is supplied to 25% of it's total available storage.

Missions
The start and end of each day and the mission length is adjustable by the administrator.
At present the mission length is 3 hours, the first mission starts at 08:30 and the last mission starts before 16:30.

Airfields
If the supplies at an Airbase fall below 25% of the total storage the base is suppressed and the load outs for Aircraft taking off there will be limited and the airfield cannot spawn Patrol Flights.  If the Region has enough supplies the airfield receives 10% of it's maximum supplies per mission.

Production
At the end of each day production points are added to the supply for each Region then some of the storage points are used to rebuild Production.
Total available Production for a Region is determined by the number and type of Factory buildings in each Region.
Production for a Region can be reduced by destroying Factory Buildings.
When existing Factory building are already on a map those are used on other maps Factory buildings are added to the map.
Factory buildings can be found at cities and large towns.

Storage
Storage is used to rebuild Production(once/day), and AAA and to resupply neighboring Regions that have low storage.
Storage is also used to manufacture Aircraft and Tanks.
Tanks are assigned to the region that manufactured them.
Aircraft are assigned to the Reserve at the HQ/Supply Base (Uppercase).

Columns/Convoys
Vehicle Columns, Trains, River Boat Convoys and Ship Convoys are used to move supplies from one Region to another.
They are indicated on the Map by appropriate icons and arrows showing the origin and destination locations.
For Ships, Boats and Vehicle columns the amount of supplies that reach the destination is prorated to the number of vehicles that survive to the end of the mission.
For Trains if the locomotive survives to the end of the mission all the supplies the train carries make it to the destination.

Tank Column
When a Region has sufficient tanks they are moved to adjacent Friendly Regions that require more tanks or enemy Regions to attempt to capture that Region.
Tank Columns are shown on the map by appropriate icons and arrows showing the origin and destination locations.

Bridges
Destroying a bridge does not prevent a column from completing it's mission.
A vehicle does not have to reach it's destination to complete it's mission just survive.
Destroying bridges can halt a column making the vehicles easier to destroy.

Capturing/Battles
A Region is captured when one side has tanks in that Region and the other side has none.
When a Region is captured it is resupplied to 25%, there will be no Aircraft at any airbases in the Region.

Battles take place when both sides have tanks in a Region.
Each side has HQ where human controlled tanks can spawn (if available).
Each HQ has six anti-tank guns.
AI tanks spawn in groups of four from each HQ and travel to the enemy HQ.
Human pilots can assist their forces by destroying enemy tanks and anti-tank guns.

Aircraft
Aircraft are assigned to a base not individual pilots or squads.
If you takeoff at one base and land at another your aircraft is assigned to the base where you landed.
You will receive a message via in game chat when you spawn as to the availability of the aircraft you have picked (use enter key to confirm by bringing up the chat window).
If your Aircraft is not available where you spawned you will be kicked if you take off.
The HQ/Supply base has a number of reserve aircraft, if your aircraft is not available there a reserve aircraft is converted into the type you picked. Reserve aircraft are replace with supply points taken from the base where they are based.
If you land and aircraft with more than 50% damage at a base that aircraft will not be counted as landed there and will be lost to your side.
If you are in flight when the mission ends or disconnect and damage to your aircraft is less than 50% your aircraft is returned to the base where your sortie started.

Patrol Flights
If enemy aircraft are spotted over a friendly Region that has an airbase a defensive flight will spawn in and fly the perimeter of that Region and engage any enemy aircraft encountered.
When the Patrol flight is active an icon appears in the middle of the Region it is patrolling.
Although patrols concentrate on their Region they will engage any enemy aircraft close to them and following the enemy into adjacent Regions.
Patrol flights will not spawn in Regions where there is no airbase or the airbase is Suppressed.

Attack/Bomber Flights
If enabled Attack/Bomber flights spawn throughout the mission and attack enemy cities, columns and airbases.
Bomber fly higher and level bomb enemy cities, attacker fly lower and attack enemy airbases.
Attacker tend to stay on mission on their way to the target but will engage enemy aircraft on their return leg.
Both Attackers and Bombers land at the closest friendly base to their target and are added to the inventory there.
As Attacker and Bomber aircraft come from the HQ/Supply base they effectively move aircraft to the front line bases.

Friendly Bomber Flights are indicated for 30 minutes after they spawn so that pilots can join the mission or escort it.

Supply Flights
Are flown using a cargo aircraft (C47, Li2 or Ju52) to resupply a friendly airfield.
Start the mission by spawning in at the airfield you are taking the supplies from with cargo loaded in your aircraft (Ammunition scheme #1).
When you spawn in you should see a message Supplies loaded on your Aircraft! If you do not see this message there are no supplies on your aircraft, end the mission and try again!
Supplies are dropped off by landing at the airfield to be resupplied or dropping the cargo over the field.  If you are successful you will see the message Supplies landed at (your airfield)

If you think you missed the message press ENTER to bring up the message window.

The problem with supplies occur when you spawn at an airfield that does not have supply aircraft.  An aircraft has to be taken from the reserve and by that time it is too late to load supplies or tanks.  Ending the mission adds the aircraft converted from reserve into an aircraft at that base.  When you spawn again the aircraft is taken from the hangar and supplies are loaded.

Rearm/Repair/Refuel/Reheal

Look for a truck with a smoke column on the airfield.  Once you get close enough the Rearm/Repair/Refuel/Reheal symbols appear in the bottom left of your screen.  Engine must be off and canopy open.  You can only rearm with your original load out but it does work at Suppressed Airfields.
