TAIPAN_ Posted January 18 Posted January 18 (edited) Reviving the thread from the old forum, I've been a little busy to play IL2 lately and might have missed some campaigns - let me know if anyone wants any added. Original text from the old forum (https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/62274-list-of-current-scripted-campaigns/😞 I made this spreadsheet to keep track of campaigns I've installed/flown since my in-game menu is very cluttered with so many installed. I figured it might be useful to others that enjoy single player as well so I've uploaded a shared copy. A few notes about the list: Order is grouped by map then mission date in the war, colour code Blue=Axis and Red=Allies This doesn't include ALL campaigns, I've only included those that I know about with updates/uploads in the last few years. If anyone can verify I've missed a campaign that works fine in the current version I'll gladly add it (and fly it). I haven't flown all of these, so my information may not be 100% accurate. Let me know where I've made a mistake. WW1/FC campaigns and Training Campaigns are in separate tabs. Tank crew campaigns are not included, scope covers flight sim campaigns only. Some campaigns before the recent patches require you to re-save. Open bin\editor\STEditor.exe in the game folder, then select Tools->Resave all missions in folder. Target the campaign folder and it should fix most older campaigns. TAIPAN_ Posted January 23 Author Posted January 23 Thanks guys @sandmarken - if you have really played them all I am jealous 🙂 I wish I had more time, been so busy last year. Big update, we have so many campaigns now! Updated 2026-01-23: Updated some links Changed release date to sortable YYYY-MM-DD format Added many missing and new campaigns, too many to list by @kraut1, @sandmarken, @Billsponge1972, @CzechTexan 1 Quote

Most of the newer ones I have not finished yet (too much time has gone into making my own), and it seems there are still new campaigns in the making, so I'm not worried that I will run out of them anytime soon. There is a lot AI can do these days, but it cannot generate better missions than a human can make, so I'd rather play campaigns than the career mode or quick missions. 😄 1 Quote

Also if I know it might be the only time I fly that month I'll do a career mission, for campaigns I want to be able to do the missions close enough together so that I don't forget the story - I'm guilty of some campaigns taking me 6 months to complete because I got busy with work after starting. Flying Circus WW1 has been good to jump into when I have almost forgot how to fly as well! Reading through this list again I'm really looking forward to getting into many of them this year 🙂 1 Quote

Can you transfer it to Google? Personally I dont want to download any excel files... 1 Quote
Aapje Posted January 26 Posted January 26 You don't have to download anything. If you click on it, you can just view it in the browser. 1 Quote
TAIPAN_ Posted January 27 Author Posted January 27 It's actually a good idea, I kind of hate dealing with Excel and office these days especially on mobile it can be hard to read. Only problem with Google is sometimes people can keep sending "requests to edit" and not understand that it's readonly, you have to make a copy etc. Try this, see if you can see it and make a copy for editing: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Xb1Won_5Jl0PxBRq72Th8YYLCvo4Vai7TfoNh6Ehn5E/edit?usp=sharing 2 Quote
YoYo Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Thank You! Now its better! 🙂 Btw. just wishes (not very important but just idea) - can you add the filter for the kind of planes? Quote

Just be aware that the filter might not work too well because some have multiple planes and sometimes the formatting of the plane name might not be the same each time.. often I copy what the author wrote which may have different dashes and spaces.. but if you just do a partial text search it might work. 1 Quote
Mike2945 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Hello Taipan, Checking your list against the campaigns I have installed in my game, I found a number which weren't on your list. Some of the links in the old forum appear to be broken, so I guess they are no longer available (unless the original authors wish to re-activate them), and some may be my error in mis-identifying them? Anyway, for what it's worth, these are the additional campaigns which have previously appeared in the old forum and don't seem to be on your list: Cold Winter; Cold Winter (Hurricane) ; Liberate the Kuban (by Czech Texan); Fritz Life; Moscow Sky; Stalingrad Sky; 150 CGT 'GTO'; Tuskagee Airmen 99FS; Luftwaffe Pilot 1940 - 45; Albert's Life Quote
Aapje Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Cold Winter and Cold Winter (Hurricane) can still be downloaded from the old forum (have to go through the thread too find the links). Fritz Life is here: https://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads4&get=64 Stalingrad Sky is also available on the old forum. I can't even find a reference to 150 CGT 'GTO' anywhere. Tuskugee is available here as three different downloads that need to be combined into one: https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/92429-tuskegee-airmen-99th-fs/ May need a manual fix for mission 16. Albert's life is here: https://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads4&get=44 None of these have been checked by me. Most probably need at least a resave. Quote
Mike2945 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Thanks Aapje - very helpful. TAIPAN_ Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 (edited) Thanks guys, some of those mentioned are in the sheet just on a different tab - see "WW2 Moscow Broken". They are from before Moscow was redone and all missions then needed rebuilding after 4.008. I only ever included campaigns if they appeared to be currently working, or their authors currently active. E.g. all of the Czech Texan campaigns that were moved to the new forum are added to the list. So I want to avoid trawling through the old forum looking for these, as I'm short of time lately. But if they are active with recent comments, or someone is able to test I'll be happy to add if you can confirm active/working and put the direct link to the forum post so I can gather the details for the spreadsheet (excluding those already in the Moscow broken tab). Tuskugee looks good - I'll add that thanks https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/92429-tuskegee-airmen-99th-fs/ Also 150 CGT - https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/92137-150-gct-gigi-tre-osei-campaign-sicily-summer-1943/ Edited January 30 by TAIPAN_ Quote
taffy2 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Just finished the Sicily 1943 campaign, which was excellent, perhaps next the same campaign but from the allied side. although it was the Kuban map it still felt immersive and a great mix of Italian and German aircraft to fly. Thanks Taipan keep up this excellent work. Cheers Quote
