bbow01 Posted March 5 Author Posted March 5 One follow up question. I had purchased Battle of Normandy without realizing that it did not have the right map (Western Germany) for the Oct 29 dogfight. I need Battle for Bodenplatte which I'm going to purchase. That made me reconsider the question of using a G-6/AS for my illustration, rather than a G-14/AS, which I have not been able to locate. My final decision will be based on the availability of the G-14/AS. Does anyone have a link to that template, if it exists? Thanks, B...

The engine to make it one is included with the G-6/AS. Simply use the ASM engine.
bbow01 Posted March 6 Author Posted March 6 Thanks for the info. I've decided to preserve all of my work on the G-6/AS and go with that one. B... 1
bbow01 Posted March 27 Author Posted March 27 (edited) Well gentlemen, it's a wrap. After a three month journey of what was mostly an enjoyable effort, I made the final "take" for the dogfight illustration for my dad's book. Just wanted to thank everyone for their guidance and kind words for a newbie learning the in's and out's of skinning. It was also challenging and fun using the Mission Editor to script up a plausible Mission scenario, not to mention learning how to fly the P-51 and Bf-109. But it's finally done (I should say "good enough" for the family and friends of Jack.) Thanks again, B/ Edited March 27 by bbow01 4
