BF 109 F-2

Pretty basic skin as I haven't quite figured out how to deal with camouflage (not for lack of trying), but this is an F-2 I made for my I/JG 52 ironman campaign starting in Moscow that I lost tonight after some rather overzealous turns a tad too close to the ground. Rookie error, but hey ho.

Edit: Apparently PWCG is smiling upon me because I only got seriously wounded in the AAR. Not sure how, but I'll take it 🙂

Here's a continuation. Now in Stalingrad and in an F-4, Franz Bellinger has been promoted to Leutnant and is I/JG 52's Gruppe Adjutant. Thought I'd add a humorous icon just below the canopy, a windsock warning sign; for when I landed, with an entire engine's worth of oil on my windshield, thinking I was on the runway until a windsock peeked over the top of the canopy shortly before embedding itself in my engine. Hopefully won't make that mistake again! Unfortunately died that mission after believing that IL-2s would fly away instead of jumping me when I shot at them, so I'll probably be swapping to an FW-190 to see how they are. Who knows, maybe I'll actually learn how to do my own camouflage on one.
