JG4_Thibaut Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Greetings. I want to introduce you to the virtual combatwing Jagdgeschwader 4. We are the eldest german-speaking Geschwader in the Il-2 community. We date back to 2003. Our Geschwader is composed of several Staffeln, which are specialized in flying fighter, fighterbomber or bomber missions. The main goal of our flying is to work as an effective group. As such we seek to fly missions in a disciplined way. In detail that means to us, that we always have a briefing and debriefing for our missions. We have role assignments during the missions which results in disciplined formation flying and task allocations to each of the formations. We regularly fly together and participate in several events of which the TAW server (https://tacticalairwar.com/) is the most important since we use the flown missions on this server to fly streaks which are rewarded by virtual medals. So if I or this beautifully painted Messerschmitt caught your interest and you are german-speaking, I invite you to visit our website (https://jagdgeschwader4.de/), discord (https://discord.gg/95jCuFVwws) or teamspeak (ts3.jagdgeschwader4.de). For pilots being interested in becoming members there is the possibility to join a flight school. It is organized by one of our pilots and the requirements of partitipation are possessing the game and having a joystick. In case you are just interested in communicating with us as a group feel free to join the discord or our teamspeak server. There is also an english section. To have an impression of our missions I recommend the youtube chanel of JG4_NOW99: https://www.youtube.com/@jg4_now99/featured JG4_Thibaut 2
Falke Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Hello... I am considering joining a new squadron as my old one folded. And though I still fly with several of the pilots, being a ground-attack pilot has become impossible with air support. Who would I speak to about joining?
JG4_NOW99 Posted February 24 Posted February 24 We are a German-speaking squadron. If you speak German reasonably well, feel free to get in touch again.
