Cardolan Posted Wednesday at 04:17 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:17 PM I bought a set of Logitech flight rudder pedals and today, after installing them (plug & play in USB port), ran the game and the planes don't answer to moves of the pedals. For more than a year I own a Logitech X52 HOTAS system installed and everything works fine with the joysticks. Notice I tested the flight rudder pedals in Windows 11 Game Controllers and there the pedals are detected and working OK. Any help solving this issue is much appreciated. Thank you. Quote

Cardolan Posted Wednesday at 06:15 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 06:15 PM (edited) I am on Steam but the suggested setting in the link is not longer present in the interface. Furthermore, both my HOTAS as well as my Rudder Pedals are detected on Steam, in the same menu. Again, let me stress I can play IL2 with just the HOTAS but the rudder pedals have no effect in game. Let me also add the IL2 "main menu\settings\control devices" do not show any reference to the rudder pedals. "Control mode" just displays mouse and joystick. I don't know if it is like that with the rudder pedals or if they should be shown in this window. Is there any file to delete for the game to reinitialize all the control procedure (and yes, I would need to setup again the key bidings for the game)? Also, browsing random files in the game dir I checked "IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\input\devices.txt and inside this file I could find references to my HOTAS as well as my rudder pedals, this is the full content of the file: configId,guid, model| 0,%2264a32c00-162d-11f0-0000545345440180%22,X52%20H.O.T.A.S.| 1,%22f1048e10-eb1a-11f0-0000545345440180%22,Flight%20Rudder%20Pedals Anyway, thank you for the help @gabuzomeu Edited Wednesday at 06:28 PM by Cardolan Further Clarification Quote
