The Tangmere Pilots have been in existence for 20 years and we still have some of the original founding members with us.

We fly multi-player coops on our own hosted servers and our official Ops night is each Sunday night at 8:30pm UK time. It is mandatory (real life issues accepted) to fly on a Sunday night.

We also fly on a Tuesday and a Friday night at the same time, this is for general fun and japes and not official Ops.

TP fly a different a/c in each campaign, these campaigns can last from 8 weeks to 16 weeks or more, each Ops mission is lovingly created by our team of dedicated mission builders. A new unique mission EACH Sunday. We fly RAF, LW, VVS, USAAF and intend to fly for every country that will be catered for by the simulator in the future.

New recruits will be expected to fly a series of 4 OTU flights to see if you fit in and more importantly to see if we fit into your expectations. Pass OTU and you will join one of our Squadrons and be on the Ops roster.

Tangmere is NOT about how good you are in battle OR how many kills you can get, the Tangmere experience is ALL about being a member of the squadron and helping to achieve a common goal. You will make friends for life, have the most fun you can have with your clothes on, learn a lot and most importantly, become a part of an amazing community of like-minded people from every corner of the world.

You will get the most out of your time with us by adhering to a well worn if slightly amended phrase - "its not what Tangmere Pilots can do for you, it's what you can do for Tangmere Pilots".

Actually I need to amend the above as we have recently changed our start time to 8:30pm UK time on a Sunday, feel free to register and have a chat with us. Our Ops mission usually last for an hour, we are normally done by 10pm on a Sunday night.

Hi there

Looking to apply to join if possible - live in the UK (Scotland), 55 years old, have all the IL2modules - WW2 and WW1 - TrackIR, Virpil joytstick/HOTAS etc etc. Also have a fair amount of DCS modules/maps too if you guys fly DCS too. I only work part-time now as I cut my hours at work after a significant illness late 2024 to mid-2025 so have a bit more time these days to dedicate to flying. I have to say im not the greatest at all as I just previously didnt have time but did buy the modules as they came out in the hope i'd get to them more - that never really happened lol. I feel that with a group, and if deemed acceptable, I think I would contribute well to Tangmere as well as improve my own skills and abilities. I am getting older so im way more a team player than having the 'impulse of youth' lol. I have registered with the forum.
