Question about Meta Quest 3s 128gb and Ethernet

Hello,
I purchased Meta Quest 3s 128GB glasses and am having difficulty with the configuration as I am new to this.
My question is about the internet connection.
I use an Ethernet cable connected directly to the PC.
In the headset settings, I get to the internet connection and the only option is via Wi-Fi. I don't see the option to select Ethernet.
Is this possible, or is there another way to do it?
Looking for information, I saw that the way to use Ethernet is by using a USB-C to Ethernet adapter and an Ethernet cable, connecting the headset directly to the router for a wired connection.
My problem is that I don't have the router nearby.
Any ideas?
Regards

Hello @the_infernal_toy
Thank you for responding.
So far, I have been able to set up the glasses with the help of a colleague and entered the router passwords by selecting Wi-Fi channels, but my question is how do I choose the Ethernet connection?
I have the AMVR cable you mentioned from the PC to the glasses.

In the old forum (https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/forum/109-virtual-reality-and-vr-controllers/) there are multiple threads about the Quest3.

Summarizing that the Quest3/3S can be used to play IL-2 in two different ways:

WIRED: (QUEST LINK)

Here you simply use a quality and long USB cable connecting the Quest3/3S to a USB port of the PC.

So, all the data and power supply to the device go through the cable.

The pros are perfect bandwidth and unlimited play time. The Cons is hanging a cable.

WIRELESS : (AIR LINK, or STEAM LINK, or Virtual Desktop)

Here all the data is tranferred (Streaming) via Wifi from the router to the Quest3/3S.

AirLink is the Meta way to do it. (This is the one I used)

SteamLink (in Meta free apps) is the Valve way to do it.

Virtual Desktop (in Meta apps) is a third party tool to do it.

The pros are no need of cable. The cons are dependency of battery time (I had an extra one attached) and dependency on Wifi quality for the bandwidth.

If you are a beginner with the Quest3S I would recommend to start with the QUEST LINK as suggested above. You need to install the Meta Software in the PC and then in the Quest3/3S menu select  Quest Link with the Air Link option OFF.

there is a third way: 1. usb typeC male-female, ethernet adapter type C (similar to Сетевая карта 2500 Мбит/с, адаптер типа C к Ethernet, 2,5G Gigabit LAN-адаптер, поддержка зарядки PD 100 Вт для ноутбуков, планшетов Mac Book | AliExpress) and virtual desktop from meta quest store

That's why I'm saying that the "quest link" is the easiest way for you

Virtual Desktop AIR LINK.

Virtual Desktop AIR LINK лучшеее,   что есть .

I would add another way to connect the VD via cable + adapter to RJ-45 directly to the router.
