FungibleofFungible Posted December 30, 2025 Posted December 30, 2025 It clashes pretty badly with any livery that doesn't have the RLM 76 belly, I was hoping for a way to recolor it on the skin file but I can't seem to figure out where, nor what file I would need to recolor. Quote
Hanu Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Looks like its not possible without modding. That texture is not included in skin file. Quote

Believe it is plane5.gtp and is texture bf110g2_wm.dds in graphics\planes\bf110g2\textures. Note I'm not a graphics artist but the dds looks to be like the gun pod to me. I've attached what I think would be the mod for a repaint but please note the dds files within are still the stock textures so whoever is interested would need to do the repainting by modifying the textures in the zip and then enable the mod. So don't download and enable expecting to see something different because you will not. The attached are just the stock textures waiting for someone to work on. Essentially all I have done is save someone the time of locating the gtp and ungtp'ing it and creating a JSGME style mod. Hope it helps you. Bf110g2 gun pod repaint.zip 1 Quote

I think you would need to change the textures in my attached zip and then once you are happy with those just add the resulting mod to your other mods and enable it. I guess it you want more than a single colour scheme for the gun pod you will need to make a mod for each scheme and enable the correct mod for the aircraft skin you want to use. I'm assuming that you know and use JSGME or something similar and other mods already. If not, see here Edited January 1 by Stonehouse Quote

Sheriff88 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 (edited) I tried it. It worked. Converted dds file from the downloaded folder to a bmp file. Repainted that bmp using GIMP and saved as a dds file.Placed repaint mod with repainted dds file into game MODS file. Activated in JSGME. Launched game with MODS enabled. Looks great.
