Suggestion: Early war 109, Early War Spitfire as Collector Aircraft.

Currently we have a Mod that rebuilds the Normandy Map to early "Battle of Britain" era compatibility.

With development focused on Korea and then the Pacific theatre, it is obvious that we could be years away (if ever), of seeing BoB scenarios available in either the old or new engine.

However, with two early war collector aircraft, this would open the early war skies up to the BoB, and easily create revenue towards future development of other modules.

The E1/E3 would be great to have, matched by a Spitfire MKI or MKII.

Chancing my arm here but a Hurricane MKI, Do-17 and early war He-111 and 110 would obviously be appreciated, but if none of this was possible, even reducing the current Spitfire MKV armaments so the cannon doesn't have to be modded out as written here:

"8 x 0.303 Browning armed Spitfire (similar MKIa, MKIIa, MKVa)

-most importent: Skin without visible cannons by Off_Winters

-weapon mod of HispanoMKII cannon with reduced rate of fire that all weapons fire for ca. 18seconds continously.

-only machine gun weapon sound

-in IL-2 now as default british palne for QMB missions"

Benefits: Extra revenue. Early war interested flight simmers and enthusiasts get to fly BoB scenarios, opening up to a greater player base. Further, you capture a market wanting to fly in new skies and a VR environment.

I can confirm that there seems to be a huge interest in BoF / BoB content.
When I started to publish the BoF and BoB mods the download numbers were extremly high in comparison with other mods.

Having seen the latest update from TFS regarding their work in progress in CloD, it would appear that this request will easily fill the gap until V6 is released somewhere in 2027..ish

@LukeFF

Hi Luke, in a recent reply you mentioned "At this point, GB is essentially feature-complete, save for the new maps and planes being made."

Is there any information I have missed on what aircraft are planned (or maps)? If not, is there any info. on a news release of expected aircraft/maps/roadmap?

I am posting the question here for obvious reasons, but as the Pacific is in the future of the Korea engine, is there any possibility of using the Normandy Map with BoB era aircraft as mentioned above?

Thanks in advance.
