Note for future Sim updates:  Whenever Great Battles is updated, mission files get broken and must be updated, again and again, rendering them unplayable.  In order to fix the missions, open the IL-2 Sturmovik Mission Editor... in the TOOLS dropdown list, choose "Resave All Missions in Folder" and navigate to the Campaigns and/or Missions folder in your computer (IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles/data/Campaigns) and click "OK".  So, if you can't get missions to work, try the above method to fix them.

You will takeoff from Stary Fontana airfield to destroy the enemy west of Dal'nik.  On returning, make a landing at Stary Fontana to rearm, refuel, and repair so that you can takeoff on another sortie.   Remember to use RCtrl+A to Rearm & RCtrl+F to Refuel.  The engine must be OFF.

This mission is somewhat historical as the axis were attacking toward Dal'nik in August 1941.

The orange line is taxi and takeoff/landing.  Supplies to rearm/refuel/repair are on north side;  I think your plane must be within 50 meters.

I just flew a mission where I landed and was doing RRR and then the A/I Chaika landed and taxied toward me.  Cool to see that.
