Guidelines

1. This forum is intended for the discussion of games developed by 1C Game Studios and other topics connected with them. The forum is divided into topical sections, each of which holds discussions on the subject indicated in the title.
 
2. This forum is provided by 1C Game Studios as a courtesy and its usage is a privilege; 1C Game Studios reserves the right to ban any member temporarily or permanently for any reason at any time. Any penalties listed below for violations of the rules are guidelines only and forum administration may take additional action if they feel it is warranted. Use of the forum is not connected to usage of the game and access to this forum is not guaranteed to users as a consequence of purchasing the game.
 
3. This forum is not a means of official support. When following recommendations from community members on the board, you do so at your own risk. Any failure, damage, or malfunction resulting from recommendations made by fellow users on the forum is not the responsibility of the forum administration or 1C Game Studios.
 
4. The forum is not pre-moderated and objectionable material may occur without our knowledge; messages posted on the forum have not previously been viewed and have not been edited by the forum administration. However, forum administration and moderators reserve the right to edit messages after being posted.
 
5. Moderators oversee the different sections of the forum and they have the right to edit and delete posts or close the entire topic without explanation.
 
6. It is forbidden to discuss the actions of moderators and administrators in any form on the forum. All questions are to be sent via "personal message" to the administrator/moderator.
 
7. Comments containing profanity, personal insults, accusations of cheating, excessive rudeness, vulgarity, drug propaganda, political and religious discussion and propaganda, calls to overthrow governments by force, the humiliation of persons of a particular gender, sexual orientation or religion are not allowed and will result in a temporary or permanent ban (decided by a moderator).

8. Inciting ethnic hatred and Nazism and racist statements will result in a permanent ban of the offending user account and deletion of the posts and threads created by this user account.
 
9. You cannot use the forum for advertising other products. Sending advertising materials through personal messages and placing advertising materials in signatures, profiles, and avatars except personally agreed to by 1C Game Studios is prohibited. All such incidents will be deleted without warning. Discussion of other games is only allowed in designated sections of the forum and will be stopped if the discussion becomes an advertising vehicle.
 
10. Willful duplication of topics and excessive branching of topics is prohibited (i.e. placement of similar meaning posts and content). Before starting a new topic in a section, please use the search function to find similar posts. This will help make sure the subject you are interested in is easy to find by others. Topics that needlessly duplicate other discussions may be closed without notice and subsequently removed.
 
11. Discussion of counterfeit software and links to download counterfeit software and discussion on methods to break copy protection, creation of registration keys, and other illegal ways to bypass the security software is prohibited.
 
12. It is prohibited to write your entire message in large or capitalized letters (except for abbreviations and other reasonable usage). Moderators have the right to remove a thread/post, regardless of its relevance, viewership, and other factors.
 
13. Discussing private matters through the posting of public topics and posts in the forum is prohibited. Such posts will be deleted without warning or notice.
 
14. It is prohibited to use a nickname or any other elements of the user profile (email, address, signature, etc.) to display obscene or abusive language in the form of words and phrases in any language. Obscene and provocative language in avatars is also prohibited. The degree of obscenity or similarities to vulgar material is decided by the forum administration on a case-by-case basis. The administrator's/community manager's word is final in the case of dubious or unclear material. Using provocative nicknames and nicknames that might mislead about their affiliation to a particular forum member is also prohibited. It is also forbidden to use an avatar or graphic signature to display pornographic images or images that contain nudity, or obscene elements. The following material related to WW2 is prohibited on the forum: images with clearly visible symbols of Nazi Germany, images of military or civilian awards associated with Nazism, images of German military or civilian leaders associated with Nazism or convicted or prosecuted for war crimes that have not been completely exonerated. Moderators have the right to remove offending avatars, signatures, or personal information without notifying the user. The administration reserves the right to decide unilaterally to correct any item in the user profile.
 
15. Images in avatars that are overtly political in nature or display controversial figures such as terrorists or other criminals are not allowed. Such images should be reported to forum moderators or administrators. If an avatar upsets other members you will be asked to remove it. Non-compliance will result in a lengthy or permanent ban. Discretion in such matters is up to the forum administrators.
 
16. Posting messages that are not relevant to the topic of discussion (off-topic) except as specifically allowed in a section is prohibited.
 
17. Messages lacking meaning (i.e. containing only one quote) can be removed by the administrator/moderator, depending on the context. Excessive over-quoting (the ratio of the cited information within the message to the new 3:1 or greater) is discouraged and may be deleted or modified by the forum administration.
 
18. Spreading false or harmful information about the product is prohibited and will be deleted by the forum administration. Claiming ignorance of the subject to justify harmful or obviously untrue info will not be tolerated.

19. Claiming that the flight model is incorrect without the required proof and starting a flame thread based on such a claim is prohibited.

The form for a flight model claim consists of:

• short but consistent description of the claim;
• link to a reference and to a specific part of such reference that describes the correct behavior of a disputed element/situation;
• game track record and the list of conditions used to recreate disputed element/situation.

20. Systematic message spam on the forum, unfounded negative comments about the game, derogatory comparison of the game with other products without pointing out specific flaws, and the constant distraction of forum administration and developers by repetitive complaints about false problems are prohibited.

22. Registering and usage of a backup (optional) account without the consent of the forum administrator is prohibited. Violation of this rule will result in the deletion of the duplicate account and limited access rights for the main forum account for a period of 1 month.
 
23. Postings and discussions which have users’ personal data (such as addresses, telephone numbers, emails, IP addresses and other contact information, and private messages as well) - regardless of whether this is their own or that of other users - will be removed. Users who publish this type of content on the forum will be warned or suspended by an administrator or a moderator. If a thread or post is in violation of the forum rules, users are encouraged to use the report button on the post and provide information as to why the thread or post is in violation.
Real-life threats include both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which refer to violence in any capacity that is not directly related to the game world.

24. The forum rules embody the will of 1C Game Studios, but may be enforced at the discretion of the moderators or other forum administrators and punishment may be softer or more serious than listed in the forum rules.
 
25. 1C Game Studios reserves the right to modify these rules without warning in the future at any time and for any reason.

26. Discussion, promotion, or linking to any software, app, tool, method, or other information relevant to cheating is prohibited and subject to moderation at 1C Game Studios discretion.  

27. Purposely editing images or game content provided to the community by the developers such as, but not limited to wallpapers, posters, and skins to display Nazi symbols or other offensive images for whatever reason and posting them on this forum in any way is strictly prohibited and will result in a ban, length of which is to be determined by 1C Game Studios.
